Welcome to Toni’s Feathered Cluckers DNA Lab!
Believe it or not, this entire journey started with just a few production egg layers in my backyard. I simply wanted fresh eggs for my family, never imagining that those few chickens would grow into such a huge passion.
Before I knew it, my flock began growing… and growing… and growing! What started as a handful of hens quickly turned into a flock of over 17 different breeds and color varieties, each one bringing something unique and exciting to learn about.
As my love for chickens grew, so did my interest in breeding. But it was my love for Ermine Ameraucanas that truly changed everything.
I became fascinated with how genetics work, how certain traits are inherited, and how breeders can make intentional decisions to improve future generations. I found myself constantly wanting to learn more and understand the science behind the birds I loved so much.
That curiosity eventually led me down a path I never expected… DNA testing.
Today, I’m incredibly excited to combine my passion for poultry, breeding, and genetics to help other breeders and flock owners make confident decisions for their own flocks.
Whether you’re trying to identify sex, uncover genetic traits, or better understand your breeding program, my goal is to make DNA testing approachable, affordable, and easy to understand.
